An Internship at SunHeart Switzerland AG
Yue is also a board member of MeWell, an organization of students aiming to improve awareness of mental well-being in academia and promote a healthy lifestyle, which is extremely important not only in academia but also in business.
On January 25th, 2023, we asked Yue to answer a few questions about herself and the upcoming internship that starts on March 1st, 2023.

With this image and the text below, we advertised our first internship position in mid-October 2022.
Yue was the first to apply for it. Through several encounters and exciting conversations, it quickly became clear how well Yue fits with us.
Yue is a master’s student in Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich and is very interested in sustainability, value-oriented, ethical corporate management, business in harmony with nature, etc. – all topics that SunHeart Switzerland AG promotes and which SunHeart Business Leaders stand for.
Hello Yue! Can you tell us a little about yourself…who are you?
I am Yue and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences at ETH. I am originally from China but I completed my high school education in Germany. I also completed my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences at ETH.
What is particularly important to you in life?
Firstly, I think it’s important to stay true to oneself. This includes being honest, but also finding a balance between all the needs and goals in life.
Moreover, the environment is particularly important to me. I believe that humanity can only progress if we solve environmental issues.
What drew you to the job posting for our internship?
I found the job posting on LinkedIn. It was very different from the others I had seen during my search. Ethics were emphasized in it. In my opinion, this is exactly what is missing in today’s world. After that, I researched what SunHearts does exactly. I am very drawn to the values, as well as the idea of operating a business in a way that is in harmony with nature. I believe that should be our future.
What do you see as the benefit for yourself in this internship?
Firstly, I feel like I can create something good for the world through this internship. That’s very important to me. Then, I find it very interesting to be able to participate in the process of building a company. I’m sure I can learn a lot and gain experience through it.
In addition, I have attended many interesting discussions at SunHeart events, and I expect to meet even more interesting people there.
Do you already know which tasks you will mainly be working on and what goals need to be achieved?
One goal is for me to translate the entire SunHeart website into English. Additionally, I would like to contribute to expanding the SunHeart community. This includes a range of tasks in marketing (such as creating an image video, running social media, writing blogs, etc.). We also plan to develop a crowdfunding campaign. In collaboration with Simon Kaserer, I will work on SEO optimization. Other tasks will surely arise in event management, meaning that I will organize and support the implementation of SunHeart Academy’s training programs.
