We humans have lived in social communities since the beginning. These establish rules based on moral concepts in order to ensure good coexistence. And yet there are always arguments and disputes and these norms are undermined. How does this contradiction between moral standards and individual actions come about? Do we ourselves have any influence on this – and above all, does our brain have anything to do with morals and ethics?
Birgit Hohnecker, Dipl.-Psych., will address these and other questions in this lecture. Birgit Hohnecker is a neuropsychologist, conversation psychotherapist and coach. She has been working with people with brain injuries for 25 years. As a result, she experiences on a daily basis the influence our brain has on our thinking, feeling, acting and also our personality, or how our brain “works”. On this basis, she gives lectures on all aspects of the brain. She also runs staff training courses on the topics of resilience, burnout prevention and dealing with people with brain injuries.
